Applications for assistance are taken October through early December. Applicants must be Lapeer County residents. People can apply three ways: in person, online, or by mail. See below to learn more.

You can apply online by filling out our form. Click on the button below.
To apply you must show a driver’s license or ID, birth certificate or social security cards for each child, and proof of all household income for the past 30 days. You will need to upload a photo of each item to the online application form.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF THEIR DRIVER’S LICENSE OR PHOTO ID, BIRTH CERTIFICATES OR SOCIAL SECURITY CARDS FOR EACH CHILD LIVING IN THE HOME, AND CURRENT DHS LETTER SHOWING ACTIVE CASE (You can find this letter in your Mibridges.com account.) OR 30 DAYS PROOF OF ALL HOUSEHOLD INCOME IN THE HOUSE.
